my inspirations for art and design pretty much comes from every corner of my life. Whether i’m out with friends, topics of conversations, people watching, tv, etc. In this case it came from a conversation I over heard while waiting in line at my local grocery store between a woman and her teenage son. Unfortunately I can’t remember exactly what was said since it happened 5 years ago but I vaguely remember this mother using a mixture of slang with a very sesquipedalian word. Which lead to her son saying “HUH” and her replying “Look it up” Me being some what of a linguaphile I found her reply so interesting and hilarious. If I knew how to spell it I probably would have looked it up but instead I thought to myself

“ You know what would be funny if there was a dictionary app that not only gave you the definition but also provided the use of the word in a more urban dialect ”

This being a novelty app I wanted to keep it simple and straight forward. Thought of it as a tool that can improve ones grammar without having to lose their street cred
